I should win a copy of the new listener vinyl because I began crafting a cross stitched (listener) iphone case for my phone on saturday so that I could proclaim my love for my favorite band to all who might see it.
I was about half way done with the custom made listener phone case when I read about the contest rules... I excitedly picked up the pace in hopes of finishing it in time for the contest.
While the phone case does serve as an example of my dedication to listener... here's the main reason I think that beautiful colored vinyl work of audio visual art should be mine...
I arrived to work this morning, string and needles in hand and my adorable 8 year old nephew grabbed the phone case and questioned my motives. I explained to him that I was hoping to win a contest...
Without another word, he walked away for a good 10 minutes... When I walked over to see what he was up to, I saw this...
I've never been so proud of anyone in my family.
I asked him what he was doing, and this was his reply:
(After I melted from his adorableness and proceeded to write down his every word.)
"I have ideas for you. We can write their name in perler beads and make a lot of different things so they can choose whichever one they like best! You are going to win! ... And they might even put it on a blog!"
So basically, I unknowingly commissioned my little nephew to make these crafts while I finished my iphone case.
All he asked in return was to be able to listen to the record at my house when I win it.
